The Clone Room

From the first batch of medicine we made over a decade ago, we have never stopped trying to get our products into dispensaries.  And for over ten years, we have been blocked — either through absent regulations followed by mis-interpreted and misapplied regulations, and combined with dispensary lawyers who didn’t care enough to challenge the state.  While competitors who only made and sold CBD products as a side gig to their THC operations were thriving,  those of us whose only lane and total focus was non-psychoactive medicine were punished for it.

This summer, we ratcheted up our battle with the state in a fight for fairness here in the California cannabis industry, and in the middle of common cause activism against corruption, we found ourselves aligned with two powerful partners: Catalyst Dispensaries and Traditional. Together, we forged an alliance that none of us saw coming but developed quickly and naturally as we all were working tirelessly to make the regulators see reason.  It was a relationship born not of convenience, but of conviction: a belief that the cannabis plant deserves respect, communities deserve honest, transparent access, and Californians deserve a fair market place.  It was born of an expectation that regulators are accountable to the people and cannot ‘go rogue’ on decisions that affect an entire industry.  It was born of a belief that someone should reign in the CDPH as their overreach and problem-causing in our industry has been astonishing.

For the Sisters, this partnership marks a breakthrough.  After a decade of being sidelined, we are finally introducing a line of dispensary products and six of us will be in Los Angeles September 24–28 visiting the dispensaries that will be the first to offer our products.  The Sisters are on a mission to meet and get to know the budtenders that will be interfacing with the public on their behalf.  And the public is invited to join the Sisters at the dispensary locations to witness this historic ‘meeting of the budtenders’,

What Comes Next

Our Los Angeles dispensary tour is just the opening of a new chapter. For the first time, the public will be able to walk into a dispensary and ask for Sisters of the Valley products.  That alone is a historic shift, but it’s only the beginning.

In October, we’ll begin sharing the details of our kosher cannabis standards — a set of practices that tie our work back to the moon cycles, blessings, and rituals that have always guided us. These aren’t empty words; they are the living roots of our Sisterhood, now being carried into the highly-regulated space.

At the same time, we’ll be rolling out our first collectible card series. Every package will carry a piece of history: Beguine women, archetypes, and Sisters past and present. These cards aren’t just pretty inserts — they are teaching tools, conversation starters, and ways to honor the women who came before us.

By November, we’ll celebrate the official launch of our flower on shelves with ribbon-cuttings and blessings at select dispensaries. That moment will not only mark our arrival but will also set the tone for what’s to come: consistent, blessed, and tested cannabis, grown in partnership and shared with community.

December will bring further expansion, as more dispensaries open their doors to carry our flower.

Why It Matters

For us, this isn’t only about flower sales. It’s about breaking barriers after ten years of being told “no.” It’s about reminding regulators and industry gatekeepers that fairness, transparency, and integrity matter. And it’s about showing the next generation of women in this industry that persistence pays off — that alliances forged in activism against corruption can move mountains.

Follow the Journey

We’ll be documenting this entire process — from the blessing of the land and the crops, to the meeting of the budtenders in Los Angeles to the ribbon-cuttings later this fall. You can:

Why It Matters

This is about more than cannabis. It’s about breaking barriers, standing firm in values, and finding unlikely allies in the pursuit of justice. For years, the gatekeepers said ‘no – you can’t’, but now, with the brothers we have at our side from Catalyst and Traditional, the answer is ‘oh yes, we can’.

Stay with us on our journey.
